There are two amazing staff members at Whitcoulls Riccarton that always make my day and have me coming back. One of them is called George. My partner and I have been served by George multiple times, so much so that we go home and tell the other when we get served by him haha. George is always so lovely and every time we have been served by him, he is always laughing or sharing a joke with us. He is so kind and always goes above and beyond. The other staff member is a ginger haired girl and I wish I knew her name. A few weeks ago, I was feeling quite low and went to get a colouring book. She came up to me and asked if I needed help. When I said I was just looking, she complimented my makeup and was really kind. It instantly boosted my mood. Every time I go into the store, she gives me a warm smile and is always so kind. They have a great team at Whitcoulls Riccarton :)

As a puzzle lover, it's great finding a place where you can get good quality ones. Not too much choice, but you can find (finally) Clementoni and Ravenburger ones. I am always tempted to get a new one!! Love it. Plus, the stuff is very friendly and helpful.

Well laid out. Great range of books, stationary and NZ Made gifts. Tidy and organised. Friendly staff.

A very good store for books, stationery and toys. Had been there a couple of times during their closing time and their staff were polite while informing that the store had to be shut for the day.
