Average fish and chips on the more expensive side too. Food was very dry the cod they sell has so much batter and hardly any actual fish.

Great chips just like they use to make in the old days. They make their own chips and they are so good, you just want to keep eating them. Batter on the fish is a bit thick, but chips are great.

Great fish n chip shop ! Reminds me of the 1980's . chips are real not carbon copies like so many other shops today. Fish is good too my son loves it and won't eat from any other shop! Please don't ever change...

I dont know why people rave on about this place,they are the worst fish & chips I've ever had,I don't usually do tomato sauce as it hides the taste of good food,I needed sauce to be able to swallow the chips they were that dry & the piece of fish wasn't nice,I would rather travel an extra 3 minutes down the road to Dallington fish & chip shop as theirs is a hell of a lot nicer

Yuk!!! I got a battered sole filet & half a scoop. The chips were disgusting, dry & horrible, the sole fillet that cost $8 was mainly just batter thick & goey on the inside (batter not cooked on the inside), barely any sole in it just batter & so salty. Just a complete let down & waste of money, we won't be going back!! 🤢
