Hakan did a BRILLIANT job on my hair. It was my first visit yesterday and I’ll definitely be going back just for him! He really listened to what I wanted (keeping the length, layers, and face framing). I’ve had bad experiences at other salons, so I was honestly so happy with the result. Thank you, Hakan!!!

A warning about this place - I got a Qiqi straightening treatment and was quoted $299. They charged me over $600 as I have thick hair - yes I have a lot of hair (shoulder length) but surely not double the cost. The manager treated me with disdain and told me rather haughtily that this was the standard pricing for Qiqi. Well, I checked around and it is not - most places were horrified and many said they charge an extra $50 for thick or long hair. If you want Qiqi straightening look elsewhere!!

I chose this salon because they promote themselves as grey hair experts, and I booked with the master stylist and owner expecting a professional result. What I received was the opposite.
Prior to my appointment I had a consultation and hair strands taken to be tested. The master stylist came back to me saying all was well and she could achieve my goals.
The colour I asked for (natural ashy brown to match my natural 70% dark, 30% greys) was not delivered. Instead, I was left with a full bleach with an incredibly artificial grey/purple toner.
There was absolutely no blending towards my roots/scalp and I was left with a harsh line just above my ears where my natural colour meets the bleach.
On top of that, my hair was chemically burned during the process, and it is now breaking off around the top and sides of my head. My curls are completely damaged and to get them back I will have to grow out this awful work, to cut it all off.
On top of THAT, all the toner washed out after the first wash and left me with bright bleached, damaged hair.
When I raised these concerns, I was only offered a “trim” as the solution. A trim does not repair chemical burns or fix incorrect, artificial looking and harsh colouring with no blending. I provided photos of the damage to the shop and owner, and despite my distress and loss of trust in the salon I was refused any form of refund and was made to feel like I had to fight just to be heard.
It’s devastating to be left with damaged hair after trusting a salon that markets itself as grey hair specialists. I would strongly caution anyone considering this place.
