Arrived tired and overwhelmed by city traffic because we are from a small town. Lady at the front desk greeted me with a warm smile and even took me to the room we would be staying in. We booked accomodation for myself and my 4 adult children, and the room had a kitchenette with everything a family needs.Pot, pan, sharp knives, decent dinnerware . Two rooms, one with twin beds, one with queen bed ,and one sofa bed. Both rooms very tidy, fresh linen, electric blanket very clean and modern. Large table with 6 comfortable chairs in the lounge, which became our main hangout spot to eat ,watch television, and do small activities on. Warm heatpump which was great on the cold Canterbury nights when snow is falling on the mountains around the city. Curved, modern large TV to watch Netflix,YouTube etc Great, fast internet which pleased teenagers who must have internet to talk to their friends about important things that arent that important in the scheme of things. Also, tik tok dancing....apparently very important....would rather never cam up my dancing but they do. Wish they would focus on school as much but I digress.... Lots of mirrors which my teen daughters spent alot of time looking into. Great shower, warms up quick, great pressure. Had to ask for help at one point...needed old towel because im cheap and needed to use box dye on horrific gray hair i found. ...same lovely lady at reception gave me some towels they dont use any more after I explained that I didn't want to ruin their beautiful guest towels. I was very greatful. I used one on my hair , and one on a coke spill my daughter had on the kitchen floor. Overall, it was hassle free,.. accessible to great food places and huge mall just down the road. Also, not far from the huge Warehouse on Blenheim road. I am a nursing lecturer and travel alot for work and have stayed in many motels in nz. I recommend this one and will not hesitate to recommend this to family and friends. Plus its super affordable.. Go stay there! Book it!
Very comfortable place to stay. A heartfelt thanks to Prince for turning on the heat pump, meant my room was all warm and cosy when I got home from the train trip. Very comfortable bed, all facilities were excellent. Will certainly recommending this place to all my friends and and family
Great value for money! The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The location was very convenient, making it easy to get around. Everything I needed was provided, and the stay was quiet and relaxing. A budget-friendly option that I’d happily choose again.
Easy walking distance to train station or complimentary shuttle. 1 bed apartment is very spacious and clean. Everything you need provided. Prince was particularly helpful with my booking error with excellent and quick communication. Good value. Would definitely recommend.
We stayed in a 2-bedroom unit with our adult daughter at the Tower Junction Motor Lodge for 3 nights during our recent NZ holiday. The rooms were spacious and impeccably clean. The Unit is very well located and in walking distance to the train station. The owners were unobtrusive but happy to assist with transport etc. Parking is available and free. Highly recommended.
