Food quality at an unbelievable price!! Does this make sense to the market these days? Every Thursday from 5:00 pm, the special deal steak is only $20. I couldn't believe it when my friend told me, but I went and tried it and it was even more amazing. Everything from the tender steak, crisp chips, and salad was perfect. The sauce wasn't bad. Next time I go, I'll eat without the sauce. LOL The staff was nice and I felt sorry to ask for anything because it was so cheap. My friend said that the mussel dish was so delicious, I really want to try it. The atmosphere is great because the bar and the restaurant are separated, and the atmosphere looks great with the terrace space. The parking space is also large, so parking is convenient. I highly recommend it. I really appreciate your service ❤️

Classic pub style food - the group ordered a pizza, a burger and steak.
All meals were really nice, and there were plenty of good looking options on the menu.
The service was some of the best I've had in a long time. Not only did the waitress patiently give helpful answers to all my questions, they also asked about dietary requirements which I thought was amazing (as I had never been asked this at a restaurant before).
This is definitely a high ranking restaurant for me in both service and meal quality.

Came here with a friend and my husband. Got seated straight away and the server came over asking for drinks within five minutes. Half an hour later we ordered dinner and fifteen minutes later dinner came out. I ordered the chicken pasta with fries, our friend ordered the beef burger and my husband; wagu steak with double fries and garlic butter. First off - I found a hair in my tomato sauce. Not happy so waited till the server came back and she didn’t seem to care but took my sauce away. I had observed it and when it came back it was the same wee ramekin of sauce. Not happy. Did not eat it. Apart from that the pasta was delicious, my husband was not asked how he wanted his steak cooked but it was still very good. Our friend’s burger was delicious! Then we decided we would do dessert. I ordered the toffee apple crumble with ice cream and cream. Did not like that as the apples were not peeled and the skin really took away from the crumble aspect. It was tough and chewy. The caramel sundaes were “nice”. All in all - it was a good meal - apart from the hair and apples! For three of us with three mains and three desserts and one wine and two cokes was $150 rounded up. We will be back. Great spot for an afternoon ale, and delicious snack in very pleasant surroundings. Superb customer service from the team, especially Jake, who was very helpful and engaging. You must try this place out. They also have space to rent for your next function.

As it was within walking distance to my accommodation, I chose to dine here. I wasn't disappointed. The food was fantastic and reasonably priced, and the main I ordered was a daily special. The staff were friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Would recommend to anyone staying in Christchurch.
