I think I found my new hair salon! Gemma is an absolute miracle worker. Very detail oriented. She understood exactly what I wanted. Be it the haircut or gloss. Bit pricey for students but total worth it. Will be back for colour. Also amazing was Diane, a beauty consultant. Highly recommend both ladies ☺️ Went back to Gemma today - as always, she nailed it!

I have been getting my hair bleached by Briar for the last year and a half. She is so welcoming and always makes me feel comfortable and I have never once walked out unhappy. I would 10/10 recommend this salon, they are all so welcoming and it’s such a beautiful space ❤️
Got my haircut done by Gemma at Surreal Hair Salon and I couldn’t be happier! She made sure I was completely comfortable and really listened to how I wanted my hair. So warm, friendly, and easy to chat with, it was such a lovely experience. I absolutely love the cut, it’s perfect! Definitely going back to her again.
My experience with Briar was extremely unprofessional.We had a consultation which went well and set a tentative date, with the understanding I could reschedule if needed. I let her know first thing in the morning that I couldn’t make it, apologised, and asked to rebook. She left me on read and completely ignored my follow-up message. Its been a week since. On top of that, she cut out a chunk of my hair to “test” for bleaching. It might not be obvious to others, but it’s there - and to be left with that after she ghosted me feels sooooooo careless and disrespectful. There’s no excuse for this kind of treatment. Poor communication, no follow-up, and leaving a client with their hair cut into for nothing is not how a professional should operate. I would not recommend her.
