I will rate this post shop and the owner a 5 star for sure.
Recently I had to send my Guitar processor as I sold it to a guy in Wellington. She went the extra mile to make a safe package for me by using polystyrene and all of this for no extra cost. The buyer was also so happy because he received the material safe and secure. Will send all my parcels through them only henceforth and would highly recommend to anyone.

I can't praise this shop enough. After my recent experience with the Nosferatu of pharmacists at Ferry Rd Postshop, the Stanmore staff are a breath of fresh air. Perhaps the Ferry Rd guy needs to chill and take pointers from the Stanmore staff in basic decency and good manners. The service at Stanmore leaves you with a smile and for literature lovers there's a sampling of publications on the shelves.
Considering Stanmore's situated in a lower socio-economic area with often trying characters nearby the post shop staff handle customers with good natured friendliness. A bloody good postshop without a nasty pharmacist lurking in the wings. Highly recommended.

Very bad experience here. Woman was very rude and complained at every request I made. Did not feel satisfied when I left and am concerned my parcel won't arrive due to all the hassle it seemed to be. I was made to feel like a nuisance, plus I was told the wrong price to pay, so it ended up more expensive than expected. Definitely won't be going back.

A most excellent service run by friendly and helpful locals, many of whom volunteer their time to run a busy shop. A great place to post!
