Great service with we'll maintained equipment Southbrook Hire is an excellent hire firm with friendly approachable staff. The have an excellent range of hire equipment which is always in demand. It therefore means you may need to book what you want to hire to ensure you don't miss out. This business can also refill LPG gas bottles, which is a real bonus.
Worthy of consideration should you need to hire any equipment. The staff will always help to accommodate your requirements.

Asked about a lawn dethatcher which I was shown very quickly because it was going out and it looked ancient. Asked about price which staff member looked up but looked past me when he told me the price. Mentioned Kennards about their electric one and instantly staff member was not interested in me. Asked it there was a catcher with the ancient one, abrupt no. Wouldn't go back and would pay double to to Kennards as I got great service there.

Review:
I had the unfortunate experience of renting a compactor plate from this hiring equipment company, and it was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. Not only was the equipment in poor condition, but the customer service was abysmal.
To make matters worse, when I pointed out that a bolt was missing from the compactor plate, the staff actually insisted that it was the customer's responsibility to know when such issues were present. This is completely unacceptable! As a customer, I expect the equipment I rent to be in proper working order and safe to use.
The lack of care for customer safety and the dismissive attitude of the staff are major red flags. I strongly advise anyone considering renting equipment from this company to look elsewhere. Your safety and peace of mind are not worth risking with such a negligent and unprofessional establishment. Steer clear and save yourself the headache!

Been here several times. Staff are very friendly and prices are good. No issues with the equipment I have rented and same for the gas bottles they have filled for me. Can recommend. Will be back.
