I had a fantastic experience with Snap Rentals in Christchurch! The whole process was smooth and hassle-free. The car was clean, drove perfectly, and I had no issues at all during my rental period. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming—I felt well taken care of both at check-in and check-out. On top of that, the price was fantastic! Such great value for money. I’ll definitely rent with Snap Rentals again when I’m in Auckland in a few days. Highly recommended! Thank you for the excellent service!
Very good experience with Snap rentals in Christchurch. The shuttle picked me up at the airport and after 20 minutes I was already on the road. I booked a Toyota Yaris or similar and they gave me a bigger car. The car was clean, new, with low mileage and well looked after, very pleasant to drive. Drop off was also smooth. I'll definitely choose Snap rentals again.
This company is a scam. I strongly advise against booking with them. I booked a car through a third party, paid the full agreed amount, and returned the vehicle in perfect condition, which was verified and signed by both parties. Weeks later, the company decided to charge me directly, claiming the third party hadn’t paid them the full amount. Avoid this company if you want to protect your money and avoid unauthorized charges.
Simple reservations at an affordable price I had a Toyota Aqua, and it was immaculate. It only takes a few minutes to drive to their office, but you might need to take a free shuttle bus to get there from the airport. Since it is easier and less expensive, it is better to purchase insurance directly from them rather than through booking agencies.
Great service and value for money, however what they failed to mention is if you drop your vehicle after 5:30 or before 8:00am and need the shuttle to the airport, you have to drop it at a different location and be charged $50 for shuttle services. We made sure we dropped back in before 5:30 pm (actually dropped at 5:15 but was a queue). By the time we were waited on, we were told the last shuttle left at 5:15. I advised we were there and the shuttle never left, and if that were the case, the sign should mention last shuttle time. The gentleman who waited on us was kind enough to give us a lift to the airport. Still good value overall, just be aware of that nuance if you need shuttle service to the airport
