Barefoot campers were a dream to rent from! 3 of us rented the Wallace Freshy for 6 weeks, travelling from Christchurch to Auckland. The initial renting agreements were super easy and quick and the team were really on it reply to messages. We had no problems with the van, it was a great size, perfect for cities and more rural areas. Everything worked great and the team were only a messge away! Such a wonderful trip and a really reliable, easy to drive van and such a lovely and friendly business. 10/10 would recommend!

Highly recommend barefoot campers when looking for a camper van to travel across the country. The van is super cute and came equipped with everything that I needed. Kitchen came with all the utensils, plates, cooking items you need. I love that it came with soap and a sponge as well. The van has plenty of space for storage and the bedding was super comfortable.
Customer service was wonderful. Rainis was superb during check-in. He was attentive and even had some great recommendations on places to visit. He also reminded me to download off-line maps, which was extremely helpful when traveling throughout the country.

Could not recommend Barefoot Campers enough! We had the best experience of hiring a campervan and travelled around the South island for a week in comfort. The company is extremely quick to respond to any messages whilst you’re out travelling and they make the whole process seamless. We have been incredibly lucky, so thank you Barefoot!

good customer service. easy to talk. but need 20mins walk from the airport or not sure if free shuttle bus as saw in application. The car was not that bad. Anyway I would say it worth how much I paid for

A good car rental company for much cheaper than the other places nearby. The car was in good condition and the staff even have a drop off point right next to the airport with no additional fee included. They did give the car to us with half a tank of gas which was unusual but caused no problems. Definitely would recommend over other car rental companies in Christchurch which were very overpriced and would give you the same car. Thanks Scotties.
