The shop feels cosy and welcoming with comfy chairs, making it easy to browse for ages. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and often offer great recommendations. They’ll even order in a book for you if it’s still in print. Great choice for fiction, non-fiction, children’s books, and even comics/manga. A favourite spot for locals and visitors alike

Unexpectedly this is one of my favorite spots during my stay in Christchurch. Wide range of books, some puzzles, board games, nice-looking notebooks…a great place to spend the whole afternoon.

A really lovely bookstore with a beautiful collection of books. There was also a staff recommendation section, and some of the books had notes from the staffs that gave a little taste of the story, which I really enjoyed. Everything was neat and tidy, and the smell of the place made me feel so comfortable.
They also sell some stationery like diaries, and they looked gorgeous. Definitely the best bookstore in Christchurch👍
