I never like to give a 1 star reviews, but Rebel sport as a company was begging for one. I ordered 2 pairs of Nike TracSuite pants. Rebel sports had stock on their website, for multiple stores across the country. Turns out, they have such a bad ordering and stock update system that they have no pairs available in the whole of New Zealand. Without any confirmation or phone call to ask if I would like anything else, my money was refunded.
Why do I find this a problem. Because of no customer communication, poor stock update and stock system design. Zero options given to me, and the whole system is poorly automated. Rebel Sport (IE Briscoes) you can do better.

We looked all around the place for indoor football shoes and finally found some at this store. Shout out to Olly for the great service. He is a credit to the store. He explained why there’s not a lot available for indoor football and offered to show us some court shoes that could also work. He has great customer service skills. Glad we went here.

Usually enjoy visiting rebel sports but sizes of clothing are limited for the more desirable items, shoes included. I managed to find a couple of items I liked but would've spent more if they had the stock.
Could see online that a shoe I was after was in low numbers but in stock at this particular branch, though when approaching staff they said it would take ages for them to find, like they couldn't be bothered. They told me that Riccarton definitely had 1 pair, so I opted to go there, and it sold out on the way. Not overly helpful.

Wanted an item that is listed as 'Low stock' online, which all too often means NO stock. So I wanted to call them to get confirmed if the item was indeed in stock. After waiting for 3 minutes for someone over there to even pick up the phone I hung up again. I'll make my purchase (worth hundreds of dollars) elsewhere.

I was very disappointed in how a staff member in your Hornby store treated my daughter. It costs nothing to be polite and maybe the younger staff should be reminded of that and the importance of customers. Without customers the staff wouldn't have jobs. I've always had excellent service at the store in the city.
