Friendly staff and the best fish and chips i have had for a long time. Fresh fish with lovely batter, and yummy Fresh chips. Hot dogs and spring rolls delicious as well. We will be back.

A very average representation of the classic NZ fish and chips. Over done chips, small fish.. Hot dog was standard but overdone. It's a shame but when a place doesn't try to be the best, they won't be. Highly unlikely to return. I foolishly returned.. And same again.. But this time with a 24 minute wait when they suggested it would be 10 minutes.. Dropped from 3 star to 1 Returned once again, chips are same average standard, small fish, no sticks in hotdogs but this time I was missing a fish ($29.50) 3 fish 2 hotdogs and 3 scoops. Missing a fish so 🤷🏽‍♂️ A failure 3 times out of 3.

Everyone has different preferences when it comes to fish and chips, but I've tried most in Rangiora and these are our favourite. Michael is very friendly and a great guy. His Mum is very enthusiastic and excitable when she knows you. Definitely recommend here.

If you want the best fish and chips in Goon, then look no further than here. Best our family of 3 has ever had and my two girls refuse to get them anywhere else. Always fantastic service and always with a smile 😊
