Pricey but good meat. Always busy but never takes long to shop here. Food hut and deli store alongside are great additions. Can accommodate most requests. Xmas hams delicious.
I love their pork sausages but got some sliced ham for sandwiches today, and the meat was really wet, obviously been over injected, I had to cook it to dry it out a bit, little bit disappointing, and the satay chicken kebabs didn't have the coating on all around them.
I visited today around 10:00 AM, as I do each week, to purchase a kilo of topside mince. While being served, I observed the staff member accidentally drop some mince into the adjacent satay product, then return it to the mince tray. I raised a concern, as I have a peanut allergy, and the staff member responded, “I didn’t put any of the mince I dropped in your bag.” The individual in question was wearing a flat cap and did not have a name tag.
Love these guys & all the different cuts of meat, plus great prices also.
I usually go there to buy beef rip and sausage. Some of the staff are nice and others are not, but the guy I met yesterday was so kind and helpful. The quality of the meat differs from time to time, but this time, it was beautiful. The thickness and quality of the meat were all perfect. Thank you.
