I was looking for a car to rent for more than a week and everything was sold out or crazy expensive. Finally, I found Options Rentals and the communication was super quick and easy. Easy pick up and drop off at city center, no hidden fees, no complications. Nice car that gave us no problems on our south island trip and affordable budget compared to all other chains. Would highly recommend! Tony accommodated our last minute requests (needed a car as ours had broken down) and the rates were very affordable compared to big name chains. The cars were also in very good condition. Thank you Tony!

We’ve rented from Options 3 times now - always an easy process, with reliable vehicles that gave us no problems. Pick-up and drop-off in the city centre which is so convenient, and Tony is always great to deal with! No-nonsense business with fair rates.

After days of hunting for a reasonably priced car, I came a cross Options and Tony was a godsent. Such a gentleman who gave me lots of advice on routes and places to visit. Don't bother seeking elsewhere, go straight to Tony and you'll be driving off happily.
My next visit to Christchurch, im heading to Options straight from the airport!

Most affordable no frills place in town ❤️
Europa are an absolute rip off compared to Tony - he also let me settle up a parking fine vs charging me over and above on top of it. Also the Toyota was a great drive and very fuel efficient!
Really grateful to this guy as my experience of Aotearoa was enhanced greatly by being able to travel around myself, stop off for adventures and see more of the country as a solo traveller..
Don’t bother going anywhere else. Best value in all of the land I reckon.
