I recently had a terrible experience with Nood Furniture in Christchurch. I purchased a few items, and within 10 minutes of buying them, I realized they weren’t right for my space. When I immediately contacted the store to request a return and refund, I was told that they would not accept the return, even though I hadn’t collected the items yet!
It’s incredibly frustrating when a company refuses to work with customers on basic matters like this. I’ve always believed in supporting local businesses, but this experience has really left a sour taste in my mouth. Their customer service was unhelpful, and their policies feel incredibly rigid and unfair, especially given that the items were still in the store.
I strongly advise others to think carefully before making purchases at Nood Furniture, as their customer service and return policies are not customer-friendly at all. Extremely disappointed.

I visited a few weeks ago to browse for a new couch and was extremely impressed by the service provided by Lily. She went above and beyond to assist me and demonstrated excellent knowledge of both current and discontinued products. Although the couch I originally wanted was no longer available, she was able to recommend a very similar alternative which I will be coming back for. I truly appreciated her help and will definitely be returning

Poor company policy, feels like a rip-off.
I bought a forge coffee table at 60% discount (I paid about $650 for it), which shows what a mark-up they have on very average items.
The finished quality on the item was poor, it looked gouged and scratched, although this is apparently the "hand-finish" look, so I was informed by a staff memberover yhe phone when i complained. The table also didn't suit the room and I returned it within 48hours. Even though the quality of the table was poor, they insisted it was change of mind and would only give store credit. So they keep my $650 while I am forced to buy a replacement piece of furniture at some stage I simply don't need or want.
This is archaic store policy, and I would recommend people be wary of buying items from here. They are very cheaply produced, overpriced and average quality. Only store credit, no refunds.

We really enjoyed this place—it’s full of inspiration and stylish furniture pieces perfect for a small townhouse. The modern, thoughtfully coordinated displays made it a pleasure to explore. We ended up purchasing several items that fit beautifully into our home, and we’re loving them.

Nothing wrong with the shop and the product itself. However, the amount of soft plastic, bubble wrap and Styrofoam the chairs came with was unreal. I purchased 4 Henry dining chairs and ended up with a carload of rubbish that required a trip to the skip afterwards. I'm not going to buy any Nood product again until they reduce their waste.
