I am a regular to this stunning salon, and am always impressed by the exemplary service. Meredith has incredible experience with colour treatments and always suggests something practical yet stylish for my difficult “colour resistant” hair. She’s been doing my hair, with great results, for many years now. The coffee / champagne are always superb. And everyone is so friendly, professional, and clearly committed to providing the best experience possible. Can’t recommend highly enough!

I loved my experience at Mods. I felt very welcome immediately and got on well with the stylist Katherine. She had ideas for my hair and did an amazing job. As a bloke with long hair it’s taken me almost 8 years of living in NZ to be satisfied with a haircut. I’ll be back!

I'm so happy with my hair!! Emma created a beautiful balayage for me, exactly as I had imagined. And the haircut is perfect too! The price-performance ratio is absolutely reasonable. You could really tell that Emma wanted to do her job perfectly and that it was important to her that you were satisfied!

My initial cut at Mods was great, but when I went for my second appointment the stylist was sick (No problem with that - completely understand) but when I talked through what I was after with the stand in stylist, she didn't seem keen to cut as requested and said "I'll just give it a trim" which was disappointing. The cut seem fine initially, but as my hair grew out, the lack of texturing I requested began to show and meant that 5 weeks afterwards, I was really unhappy with my hair and my next appointment at a different salon couldn't come soon enough. My colour was applied really well and evenly, but felt a bit boring. Considering how much it all cost, I was a bit underwhelmed.

I’ve been here twice now and saw Emma — once for a cut and another time for a balayage — and both experiences were amazing. The whole team are so welcoming and friendly. My haircut was exactly what I asked for, and the balayage turned out even better than I imagined. The colour was beautifully blended and looked natural and fresh. You can tell Emma genuinely cares about her craft and about her clients. Such a relaxing, professional space with talented stylists. I always leave feeling confident and looked after. Highly recommend
