Did a fantastic renovation of our chair a few years ago Had a wee problem with it this week, called, they said to bring it in, and sorted it on the spot. Excellent old fashioned customer service :-)
What a lovely owner when I walked in the door he was engaged straight away. He gave me great advice, spent time explaining, yes I’ll go back there. The receptionist, I would say, was a little dreary. Bad day I suspect.
We have just had our 30+ year old David Shaw living-room suite re-upholstered by McDonald & Hartshorne. It looks amazing and we're thrilled with the quality of the workmanship. It has been a pleasure working with Keith and Steve and we have no hesitation in recommending their work plus that of Seatons French Polishers who carried out all the work on the rimu timber frame. Our sincere thanks to both companies for reviving and renewing our suite for another 30 years of family use!
Recently the webbing on an heirloom chair broke, making the chair unusable. Steve came very promptly and collected the chair, which he returned repaired the next day (it didn't need recovering). I am very happy with the result, I felt the price was quite fair, especially as the chair was collected and returned, and the service was excellent.
