I have seen and read multiple reviews of this place and most of them are Negative 👎🏻 agreed. Customer service is not very polite and not professional at all here. lack of English communication skills . I hope Owner of this place is working on to fix this customer experiences by bringing Some professional, polite and well English communicator in Front counter. I have visited at Store last week and end up with little argument with Cash counter Staffs when I noticed She ( Old lady, not sure name as no Uniform no Name Badge ) has rudely dropped my meat on counter after scanning barcode. I felt Disrespect for my food and asked her not do it Again. Other Staff who always in Phone came and started saying meat is not damaged and I replied to her it’s not about damage but Disrespectful behaviour and what if I do same thing and throw money in face and said face is not damaged. I m one of regular customers from almost a decade and I would like to say most of time meat quality is not to bad . I remember one day I have bought Goat meat and had to go back another day with that meat because it’s very smelly. I got my refunded ( appreciated ) then I went back to my other one of regular Shop name is 👍 Salal ‘s Halal Butchery Mediterranean Shop🥩 I would like to share my another unique and frustrated experience and like to give heads up to all other customers to please double check price tag before making final payment ( per kg price) I had to taken my meat multiple times counter re correct price tag as they were charging me over price per kg as per price display. I am not sure charging over price was intentionally or not but it has happened to me three time. I have personally like taste of meat from here, and honestly think that customer service in front counter need friendly and professional team.
I a disappointing experience here today, especially as I’m a regular customer. I ordered a mixed meat with naan, and after waiting around 20 minutes, I noticed the staff member cut a naan bread in half and used it for my order while other customers were getting full naan breads prepared fresh. When I politely asked about it, instead of explaining properly, he started making excuses saying it was a different type of bread. I had already seen him preparing the other orders, so it didn’t feel honest. What made the experience worse was his attitude when I questioned it — he became annoyed rather than trying to handle the situation professionally. As someone who comes here regularly, I expected better customer service and honesty.
Very disappointed with my experience at Maihan Supermarket. Yesterday we went to buy lamb shank, but instead of packing the meat from the cabinet, the butcher went inside (possibly to the chiller), sliced some meat and packed it for us. Today when I cooked it, the smell was completely different from normal lamb shank. I’m confident it was not lamb shank at all. At first I thought maybe it was just me, but when my husband came home and tried smelling it, he immediately agreed something was wrong. I ended up throwing away an entire pot of food I had cooked with rice because the meat was unbearable. It honestly feels like the butcher thinks customers are fools and can be given any type of meat. Absolutely disgusted by this experience and will never be going back.
I bought 5kg of beef from this place and was extremely disappointed. Once I opened and prepared the meat, I found that around 1.7kg of it was just fat and unusable. The worst part is that the fat was hidden inside the cut, so from the outside it looked like good quality meat. It felt very misleading and unfair to customers paying for actual meat, not excess fat. This kind of practice destroys trust. I would not recommend buying beef from here unless they improve their honesty and quality control.
Bought the meat and rice meals many times now and it’s absolutely delicious. The staff are very polite, so a bit confused as to why they’ve been called rude by others when they’ve been nothing but nice and giving. They even stayed open a bit later to accept my order and prepare it. Thank you, great place🙏
