Not being a drinker of tea or coffee the past 20 years, I finally found a place in Christchurch, where I can buy my 700 gm tins of Lezzo Turkish Apple Tea. Now I no longer have to buy a slab of 9 tins or pay courier charges from Wellington, thanks to the lady on facebook that suggested that I shop at Maihan Supermarket, Colombo street, in Sydenham. The staff were helpful and very cheery. No parking out side the shop, but easily found parking around the corner, so not far to walk to shop entrance. I noticed they sold fresh meat as well. I decided to buy 3 tins, each last a month sometimes, so will pop into the city to get some more in 3 months time again. Well done, providing with my daily hot drink. 😀
Had an issue with some meat I purchased, i called up the next day and was refunded no questions asked. I felt respected as a customer and for that reason I will keep buying my meat here. Highly recommended. Great range of fresh and frozen meat at affordable prices and great customer service. 5 stars.
Bought meat for $18.05, gave $20. The cashier wrestled with the till like it was rocket science and finally handed me $1.90. Apparently, customers are the ones meant to “donate” the missing 5c. When I said it wasn’t fair, she served me attitude instead of change. If only good service was as fresh as the meat
One of the best places in Christchurch city where you can find Halal meat. Nice quality meat and reasonably priced. Different types and ranges of meat are available all the time. They also have a great collection of frozen meats, spices, different snacks and treats. Nice location, heaps of parking spaces and great staffs! Highly recommended 😊
We are a big family and have been purchasing all our meat, persian good groceries etc from Maihan since it has opened. Never had an issue with the products we buy and have been served with a smile every week. Trusted and hardworking family. It's great to see them working hard and growing this business over the past few years.
