Great place to grab quality meat at good prices. Mad Butcher at Madmarket always has a solid range and the value is hard to beat. The team are friendly and helpful, and the service is always quick and easy.
Perfect spot to stock up whether you’re grabbing something for dinner or doing a bigger shop for the freezer. Always had a good experience here.

Are you serious? Selling flank steak and calling it skirt?
It's a common scam to rename various cuts of meat and increase their value. Apparently you lot are right into it? What else are you being creative with? Pictures included.
Any butcher nose skirt steak (diaphragm muscle) always has a strong line of connective tissue running along the center. 🤔 Consumer trading act complaint incoming........

I really wanted to like Mad Butcher (Madmarket), but unfortunately my experience was pretty underwhelming.
While the prices can look appealing at first, the overall quality and consistency didn’t quite live up to expectations. Some of the products I picked up weren’t as fresh as I’d hoped, and it made me feel a bit unsure about coming back for regular shopping.
The store itself felt a little messy and rushed, and it was hard at times to get help when I needed it. Customer service wasn’t bad, but it also wasn’t particularly welcoming or engaging either – it just felt very “in and out”.
I’m giving two stars because it does have budget-friendly options and it might suit people who are just looking for the cheapest prices. However, for me, quality and confidence in what I’m buying matter, and this visit didn’t really deliver on that.

*Unacceptable Racial Bias, Defamation, and Wrongful Accusation by Management*
I am a frequent, regular customer at this store, but after my experience Friday afternoon, I will never return. I was subjected to a humiliating public accusation of shoplifting by the store manager, an older Caucasian woman of larger build.
I had purchased groceries less than five minutes prior and realized I needed bags. I re-entered through the exit—witnessed directly by this manager. I joined her checkout line, explained my situation, and she personally handed me plastic bags to pack my items. However, as soon as I began bagging the groceries she had just watched me bring back in, her demeanor shifted aggressively.
While serving her next customer, she began demanding a receipt in a raised, unprofessional tone. When I explained I hadn’t grabbed it minutes ago, she immediately escalated the situation by calling security over and pointing at my trolley in front of a store full of customers. This was a clear case of biased accusation and racial profiling. She knew I had just walked back in with those items because she had acknowledged it moments before.
This blatant attempt to belittle and criminalize me because of the color of my skin was disgusting. Once she realized her accusation backfired—because she herself had handed me the bags and admitted seeing me re-enter—she offered no apology for the emotional distress or the damage to my reputation.
To be targeted and discriminated against as a loyal customer is appalling and a violation of basic human decency.

Ordered online from Ferry Rd - LOVE the meat pack options, friendly delivery and when the meat arrive it was quality meat also came with a free helpful meal planner/recipes & bonus lollies =) Thank You!!
Wish the Optional Seasonal Pack was made more pronounced on the website, it was too small/hidden to know about it as a 1st timer, looks like a great additional option to complete the meals from the meal planner recipes and its definitely cheaper than the supermarket.
