We loved this place! Great vibe, food, drinks. DJ spinning vinyls in the morning. Excellent latte, though I think I committed a faux pas by asking about syrups, but I normally need that in the US to taste ok. But one taste of this latte and I realized why they don’t offer syrups - the roasting is really well done and doesn’t require sweetening. Wish we could be regulars here but alas we are about 8,388 miles away now.

Blown away by the deco. No pictures for one should go there to experience it.
Coffee was GOOD, best so far in our trip. Ordered a piccolo, primary notes was chocolate and the subtle fruitiness sourness came through at the end.
Banana, bacon French toast was sinfully sweet, and the coffee really complement it. Sourdough and eggs was great too, even though it was roasted till hard, the flavour of butter and sourdough came through.

On holiday from Australia with the wife and we came across this cafe whilst out exploring Lyttelton so we stopped and enjoyed a cafe latte and a delicious cake.
Great central location halfway up the hill from the waterfront with a good funky vibrant cafe atmosphere.
Highly recommended.

Was attracted by the location, views amd atmosphere. It is a beautiful place. However lunch was served cold, which was dissappointing, to say the least. On a different note, i found the political vibes distasteful and unwelcoming. I wish i had gone elsewhere.
