Had a great experience purchasing a lounge suite with La Z Boy. Was great to find a place that had plenty of couches with high backs and a wide range of materials. Staff were friendly, helpful and made the process easy. Wait time is reasonably long but this worked with out situation.

We purchased two leather sofas last year (a 3-seater and a 2.5 seater), only to discover that the larger one lacked support and cushioning, to the extent that it wasn't fit for purpose.
Eventually we were offered a replacement set, and after a 4 month wait, this arrived from the factory in Thailand last week.
Whilst the original issues seem to be somewhat improved, the upholstery finish on these new sofas, is appallingly bad.
The leather is puckered at the corners, some seams don't line up, and there are pieces of timber protruding out from under the leather. Definitely not what one would expect for almost six and a half thousand dollars!
The La-Z-Boy brand was once considered to be a quality range, but sadly that seems to have changed in recent years.
If you are after quality, consistency and accountability, then I would strongly urge you to look elsewhere.

Over the last couple of weeks we have visited twice and purchased 7 pieces of furniture. Quality furniture. Thanks Craig for your great service.

Poor quality products, not anything like LayZBoy used to be.
My parents purchased a sofa, it had many faults. The complaints process is unhelpful and purposely difficult. No one really cares, no offers of help or resolution. In the end we used the change of mind policy they had hiding in the terms of sale just to put an end to it, this cost 25% of the purchase price!! We recommend you shop around, this shop just sells the same imported low quality furniture that many other stores do. Mum and Dad were used to quality LayZBoy from earlier days and assumed the higher prices here would reflect good quality products, this is not the case from our experience. If you're younger and can be bothered arguing about faulty products then maybe try shopping here. Don't let your elderly parents shop here thinking it is the LayZBoy of the 1980s they will be sadly disappointed and it will cost them a considerable amount of money to find a way out of the dramas they encounter. The staff are not helpful after the sale and use high pressure sales tactics on elderly customers. One of the staff said the manager was not available when approached to discuss the faults only to then say he was the manager a few days later. Not recommended.

La-Z-Boy Moorhouse Avenue Christchurch has great customer service. I bought a zero gravity Altos recliner but wanted it before my overseas trip. Jeevan Sharma the salesperson promised to get it to me before the trip and delivered the heavy recliner on his own when the warehouse refused delivery on the due date! This is truly 5 star customer care. Our heartfelt gratitude to you !! FANTASTIC
