Friendly, helpful bike shop. I’m on holiday and picked up a second-hand bike for my son that needed the front wheel trued. Despite being really busy and it being a holiday weekend, they fitted us in at short notice and offered to sort it quickly. The workshop pricing was very fair, and they clearly weren’t trying to make any profit from this small job. Huge thanks to Peter — much appreciated and highly recommended! 🚲

The Super Bike Shop in Christchurch provides great service — very friendly and helpful. I was very pleased to deal with the professional and approachable staff there, particularly the manager, Odie. He not only fixed the issues with my bike but also gave me very helpful advice. Highly recommended!

Friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere — no complaints there.
However, the mechanical work was disappointing. I came in to have a freewheel replaced and the crank tightened. The rear wheel was not aligned properly afterwards, the chain was over-tensioned, and the crank loosened again after two weeks.
When I returned to have the crank tightened, I was told it couldn’t be done because the mechanic who worked on it wasn’t there. I ended up having to fix it myself in the shop.
It’s a shame, because the customer service is great, but the technical work did not meet expectations.

Thanks for the amazing job on my bike and upfront, honest service. My bike had creaked for a year, I'd tried everything. Hub cycles went the extra mile and fixed the problem. They were up front about creaks being a very broad problem and went through further checks communicating with me the whole way. Not only that, when I picked up the bike, Scott the mechanic, came out and coached me through his process and gave me advice. Couldn't ask for more, thanks guys.

Popped in to grab some tyres I’d ordered — ended up needing an emergency tyre change after a mid-ride sealant explosion (leg and bike covered in goo). Lee and the team at Hub Cycles were absolute legends. Jonty, one of their top mechanics (and a bloody good rider too), sorted my wheel out on the spot. Super accommodating, great banter, and an unreal range of gear in-store. First visit — won’t be the last. Top shop, top crew.
