Only used the restaurant, which is an 'alĺ you can eat' style buffet set up. The food selection was nicely presented and they provide a variety of dishes. Not a lot of flavour to the food, however. The staff are friendly and the service was good. Very easy set-up for a large group as you pay a set price upon entry then each person just helps themselves to whatever they fancy. Cost is fine if you're a big eater and have seconds, but dear if you're just having a single plate meal. ($52 per adult.)

It’s in the northern suburb 20 minutes drive from the airport. Location was not as convenient as in the city you have to get a ride, but the studio has a functional kitchen, which is very convenient for family. The mall is 10 minutes walking distance with a supermarket. It’s worthwhile if you’re staying for a few days.

We booked a deluxe room with two double beds. Excited to stay for our rugby trip in a good location for 5 nights. The first night the tv wouldn't work, staff were unable to get it to work so they had to get the maintenance man in the next day, unable to change rooms as they were booked. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting with mould round the bath/shower, up the wall, tiles and all over the roof and a lamp not working in the heat lamp. We had to complain, they sent cleaners in, was cleaned but there was still patches, alot better job could of been done and bathroom had very poor ventilation. The days after that cleaners attended, the bath was never cleaned and the room not vacuumed. Had to ask for tea towels and there was no toliet brush. We were disappointed, we wont be staying again and would not recommend this hotel.

One of the few Buffets in Chch but can be hit and miss. Nice selection of roast meats and veggies. A few pasta dishes and Chinease style dishes. At least half a dozen different dessert items to choose from like pav, jelly, waffles and cakes plus of course a soft serve Ice Cream machine (vanila only). Also has a bar in the reastruant with beers, wines, cocktails and Coca-Cola brand sodas.

This joint smelt soooo bad. I can only guess someone has been living in the family room for a long time cooking A finishing blend or whole spices (like cardamom pods, cloves, cinnamon sticks, and mustard seeds 24hrs a day.
