I had a wonderful experience renting with Europcar. The staff were attentive, friendly, and gave excellent explanations throughout the process. The car I received was in brand-new condition, with less than 100 km on the odometer, and it was an EHEV model that performed far better than I expected. Overall, it was a truly positive experience that exceeded my expectations.

I had a very good experience with Eurocar at Christchurch Airport. When I first checked the car given to me, I noticed that one of the tires had a puncture. I immediately informed the staff, and they were very accommodating and quick to act. Without hesitation, they replaced the car right away, making sure our safety would not be compromised during our long drive from Christchurch to Queenstown. Their customer service in that moment was excellent and reassuring.
The only downside is that my deposit has not yet been refunded, even though several days have already passed. While I completely appreciate their prompt assistance and the smooth replacement process, I hope the deposit refund process could be faster to make the experience fully seamless.
Overall, I would still recommend Eurocar for their professionalism and commitment to customer safety.

The car itself, Honda Z-RV was excellent. On pick up it was not ready so I waited 30 minutes (later than agreed start of rental). Once I had the keys and walked to the rental car bay I found that the interior of the car had not been cleaned, rubbish on floor, mud and sand on seats and floors. I decided not to ask for cleaning as I was already late and cleaned it myself. Staff was very nice both when picking up and returning. The car felt new and amazing other than the fact it had not been cleaned inside.

Excellent customer service and very clean car upon our arrival. We initially booked outlander but were given RAV4. We became in love with the rav, it was super economical, capable and comfortable travel buddy for our needs. Car was almost new with 20k on the odometer and we contributed 1.7k traveling to Queenstwon and back. Only negative feedback is that I want RAV4, which is in super high demand and pricing range atm.
Loved it, highly recommend it.
