I asked if they had any single yams, as all they had were bagged ones for $4-$5 per bag, but I only wanted half the amount. The guy quite happily opened a bag and let me pick how many I wanted (which was about half a bag for $2). This was while they were actually shutting up shop, and usually if I go to a shop at closing time they just want you out the door so they can go home.
Great produce, good value.

I absolutely adore this vege store! Always got amazing specials and the quality is typically really good with a good quantity of everything! There's also usually a really good range of produce as well as Couplands bread, odd bits and pieces such as banana chips, oils, milk, cheese etc. would definitely recommend.

I love this vege store, the prices and quality are brilliant. I'm not sure of the policy but there weren't any bags when I was last there, so might pay to bring your own if you're wanting to choose your fruit and vegetables, rather than just buying the pre-packaged selection.
