I had a really rude checkout girl on the self checkout. I went in to buy tampons because I just got my period. One item she pushes a man with a full basket of groceries in front of me because he went to the wrong machine. She couldn't wait the 20 seconds for me to buy my tampons leaving me bleeding into my underwear. Didn't care after I tried to explain just ignored me. Just an utter rude person.

Always a pleasant experience to shop here like the wide aisles and spacious feel of the store. Slightly disappointed the deli was closed so early today? Does it normally close at 7:30? Seems early since people might still grab things for a quick dinner or weekday lunches

Every time I come in, the products I want there is nothing on the shelf. The self serve checkouts are the slowest thing which is why there is lines every time you go to checkout. Store seriously needs to invest in some better user friendly equipment and actually have staff to fill the shelves.

I go to self service checkouts so there is no double handling of my food. There is no max at self service and if this is what you want put a sign up! To the young lady today to tell me next time go to an operated checkout don’t be so rude! There were no lines! Should’ve just gone to Pak n Save even tho I’m a rewards and weekly shopper. Needless to say my money isn’t well received here.

Woolworths is undoubtedly the best shopping experience you’ll get in New Zealand. Here are some important things to keep in mind, though:
1. The food. There is food you can buy. One minor problem is that the food costs money. Other than that, this already makes the shop a worthwhile experience.
2. The entrance. There is an entrance to the shop, allowing you to get in. Very handy at times.
3. The community. The Woolworths staff are very friendly, and will not hesitate to help with your shopping experience.
Overall, Woolworths is not that good. But it’s ok. New world
