I do love this place, it's my local and had the greatest range of speciality diet foods (gluten free etc) compared to the other big two. And with the Woolworths app so easy to plan and navigate it. Just wish there were more bonuses on more standard items.
Plenty of car parks. A larger store with more selection. We find staff are not as friendly. We feel like staff have eyes on us all the time and it is an uncomfortable feeling.
There’s a male on self checkout there who won’t speak or even make eye contact with you if there is no one there to see that he’s doing this poor customer service. And this happened on more than one occasion. He only interacts with certain people. Across the board this store has been the worst supermarket in the east for many years. Security is over the top and rude as well by the way.
We stay on Linwood ave we have for 7 years going on 8 meant to be our local. We’ve never stolen or walked out without paying, so why do staff feel the need to follow us around 9 times out of 10? It’s racial profiling. And Caitlin at the check out wears a jade necklace we asked for the OOSHIES for our kids that another customer without kids didn’t want and you turnt your nose up after I asked? and getting home you still didn’t give them? We see a lot of other people get them, or be offered them by staff? So what’s the issue? Pretty tiring, happens OFTEN. Sort it out or we’ll take our HARD EARNED MONEY ELSEWHERE!!!!! Your in the heart of the east you are gonna see Māoris wether you like it or not!
This place is alright but very expensive,a lot cheaper to shop at pac n save but ok to pick up a couple things that turn out costing a lot more than I want to pay. Cheeez.🤐☺️
