Felt like leaving a review as constructive feedback for staff training.
There was a young lady working there a few days before new years (with mixed colored hair) that was impolite and turned us away due to ID. While we’re flattered, we are obviously well above 18 years old. We are 36 and 32, and literally both have grey hairs.
My partner presented his NZ drivers license, and I presented an international drivers license. She turned us away because I didn’t have a passport, and wouldn’t let us in.
She was quite rude about it and it was a huge turn off.
We had no interest whatsoever in age restricted products like vapes or cigarettes, and would understand needing ID for those purchases (like with alcohol).
We were prepared to make a big (up to $500) NYE spend, so it’s kinda lame that we couldn’t even shop for festival things like- clothes, sunglasses, crystals, candles, decorative lights, tapestries, incense or things of that sort. So we just went to the Warehouse instead.
Having a small business is hard nowadays, and I’d rather support them.
If it were my store, I’d want to know how my staff treated customers so I could keep my business afloat. Training the staff to improve their age identification could help, so that you’re not turning away paying (and beyond “old enough”) customers 😢

A lovely staff member named Alexa helped me in store yesterday.
I was struggling to decide what hair colour/brand to purchase.
I told Alexa what my goal was with my hair colour and she recommended amazing colours and gave me great advice on how to achieve the results I wanted.
Alexa had not only given amazing advice but she was also very patient with me because I was a bit unsure as haven't used the brands before sold by Cosmic but Alexa was very understanding.
I have purchased the items that lovely Alexa has recommended and I'm extremely happy/excited.

This place has everything for your funky needs. Pois vapes body jewelry and clothing. Cant forget a large selection ton of incense and Korean makeup.
