4* hotel with 5* service. We booked through agoda and the receptionist initially overlooked our 2-room Family Room booking and only gave us keys for 1 room. Good thing we went back to check and they quickly rectified it! They also showed us which parking area was closest to our room and which back entrance we could take. They also helped us with our bags. And in the whole check-in process, they were patient, friendly and all smiles. It made us feel very welcome and made good our last stop/night in our 12-day trip. The rooms are clean with a spacious bathroom area. The spa reminded me of a japanese onsen (but with chlorine haha) and the sauna was nice and hot. It was so good to use both at the end of a cold and cloudy day. The eucalyptus spray was a nice touch (although some users before me had poured out the solution instead of spraying it as instructed). Everyone in my group slept so well. Couldn’t even hear the planes although we were so close to the airport.

I recently stayed here for a work AGM, and I must say the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The staff and customer service were outstanding, every team member I encountered made me feel genuinely welcomed and at home. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with beds that made for a great night’s sleep. The food was spectacular, and the location was superb and convenient for both work and leisure. A big thank you to the Commodore management and staff for making not only my stay, but also the stay of our entire organisation, such an enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend staying here and will definitely be returning in the future for both work and personal travel.

After our plans were altered from a delayed flight arriving Into Christchurch, we found Commodore Hotel to stay at for the night. This was a fabulous experience. Jeff picked us up from the airport and Lillybel and Casey checked us in with big smiles. Warm welcomes right from the start. The rooms were clean and lovely and the beds very comfortable. Breakfast offering was delicious, fresh and the service friendly. This was definitely a fantastic place to stay and we will be recommending you to our Australian friends and family, and of course we will be back. Thanks so much for your warm hospitality!

We had an amazing time staying here as a family of five (three kids under 6). The room was large and comfy, the pool and spa kept the kids entertained for ages, and the buffet breakfast had a great range and was genuinely delicious. Super friendly staff and easy access to airport - we’ll definitely stay again.

We have travelled across newzealand for 10days, however we had a wonderful experience in this hotel. The rooms are spacious, and staff is very welcoming, friendly, and helping in nature. The heated pool made my son very happy to stay in this hotel. And we have experienced their outdoor tennis and picklebal for the first time. Overall a satisfied stay, we regret that our stay just lasted for few hours.
