Coffee Culture – Redwood, Christchurch
Great coffee, good location, parking plus buzzing vibe and those legendary cheese scrolls — absolute South Island delicacy done right.
Popped in and it was humming with locals, good energy, friendly staff and that comforting “community café” feel. Coffee was spot on, smooth and strong, and the cheese scrolls… dangerous in the best way. Warm, cheesy, and exactly what you want with a flat white.
A proper local gem — honest, tasty, and consistent.
If you’re anywhere near Redwood or heading north, this is a must-stop.

To order a drink seemed much harder then it should be.. the lady was kind and friendly, but they gave me the wrong size (a cup size down) then the one I paid for (I pointed to the size I did want). I am too much of an anxious person to say anything for fear of making something into bigger deal than it needs to be. It's also way overpriced, $10 for this tiny cup. Atmosphere seemed cute and relaxing if you were to sit down.

Coffee was good. Cafe is a pleasant space. Staff were amiable. Food was not good. Very expensive sausage roll that was stodgy with hard pastry. Very uninspiring. Feta and spinach loaf was dry and crumbly. So......good coffee but the food not so good. Could be so much better.

Very big selection of cabinet food. All looks wonderful. I enjoyed a cheese scone.
Easy to get a seat.
Quick to make the coffees.

Great americano at this Coffee Culture plus I liked the berry smoothies. This Coffee Culture can be a busy place and it may be a challenge to get a table. Great coffee and good food.
Located next to a laundromat I find it handy to come over and have a coffee while waiting for things to finish.
Car parking is fine but a squeeze out the back. Plenty of room on the roadside somewhere close
This is still a busy and popular place. Good food and good drinks.
