5 star experience from pre trip, pick up and communication during the rental. Alex offered the perfect MTB and bag set up for my 2000km trip across the South Island including sections of the S2S, Old Ghost Road, Paparoa Track, Alps2Ocean and TA. Alex really looks after his fleet of bikes and spent a good hour with me making sure the set up was running perfectly. He was also flexible when I wanted to extend my rental for a few days.
We hired two bikes for two days while holidaying in Sumner. Bikes were delivered and picked up, they were powerful. I have one at home in Auckland and these were more powerful which was great for getting up n over to lyttleton and Taylor’s mistake. Well equipped with everything, phone and water bottle holders, rack packs. Alex was also very friendly, reliable, helpful with directions and instructions. Highly recommended.

Alex was so helpful, always available on WhatsApp if he We had an issue. The bikes were flawless and got us to complete the adventure of a lifetime. My brother and I rented two Marin Four Corners bikes for a month for our TA trip on the South Island. We had an amazing experience, the bikes were reliable and perfect for the journey. Alex is also amazing: super friendly, genuinely cares about your trip, very flexible, and full of great advice. If you’re looking to rent bikes in Christchurch, this is the place!
My wife and I planned a two month cycling tour of NZ trails - Alps 2 Ocean, Clutha Gold, Roxburgh Gorge, etc. We rented a pair of bikes from Alex for the duration of our trip. The entire process went perfectly - Alex was extremely helpful - he answered our emails promptly, he supplied panniers and a car rack, he even modified the bikes for us. I wouldn't consider going elsewhere for a long term bike hire.
