We have just used Christchurch Electrical to install solar in our home , 4 young guys worked very hard all day to get it finished, 6 panels on one side and 12 on the other side, the workers were all very polite and great to chat to, I would highly reccomend get them to quote on solar installs, ask for William when phoning to book a quote

We had a sudden power outage late on Sunday and called Christchurch Electrical in a bit of a panic. Brooklyn came out promptly and was absolutely fantastic.
She was professional, calm and incredibly efficient. She quickly identified the issue, explained everything clearly and had our power restored in no time. It’s such a relief to find someone reliable and knowledgeable, especially in an after-hours situation.

Commissioned Chch Electrical to do some cabling for a solar system on a “charge up” basis. The work was done well. But, charge up does not give the contractor licence to charge whatever they like. There is a requirement for charges to be “reasonable” in the Construction Contracts Act. Anyway I didn’t think $96/hr for electrician and 60% markup on supply items was reasonable. Keep your eyes peeled and maybe get a quote with a breakdown so you can decide if you think it’s competitive.

We had Rob and Brad wire in our new spa pool. They were very clear in explaining why we needed to upgrade the circuit and what the cost would likely be. All completed during the one visit and a very positive experience.
