Very disappointed with the experience I had here. When the vehicle was dropped off, everything listed on the WOF sheet had already been completed and the vehicle was running perfectly fine. It only went back in for a recheck, where the remaining items were simply headlight adjustment and confirming that an axle seal was not leaking.
We had arranged with Steve, the WOF inspector/workshop supervisor, to collect the vehicle on Sunday around 10–11am, even though the shop was closed. This had been approved beforehand. However, when we arrived to collect it, nobody was there and we were told everyone was around an hour away from the workshop. Nobody was willing to come back and open up for us, and we ended up waiting until around 4pm before the vehicle could finally be collected.
When I got the vehicle back, it was in worse condition than before. The headlights were worse, the brakes felt worse, the headlights had been unplugged, around half a tank of fuel had been used, and the vehicle now pulls hard to the left when taking your hands off the steering wheel — something it never did beforehand.
The communication and professionalism throughout the situation was extremely poor. I was contacted through an employee’s Snapchat account, called a liar, and told that work had never been completed. The agreed work was not carried out, and other people were unnecessarily involved in what should have been a straightforward matter between a WOF inspector and a customer.
Overall, a very frustrating and unprofessional experience.

Life saver because I didn’t really notice my petrol levels (I know).. I wouldn’t go with the route google suggests, instead look for the signage to find it. You have to turn left at the first intersection from the SH1 and then go right after a 1km or so.. again best to look for the signage. Petrol was a bit pricey but it will save you in a pickle

Had a field day, small fully packed wee place. Fantastic selection, especially with Tupperware, household items you would love to have. Very impressed with the place. The hardest thing was to find it, but we were greeted as soon as we walked in the door and a wee conversation had. So nice to meet welcoming people. Thank you

My gf and I got Wofs on our cars today. BEST PLACE. So fast and lady that was at the font counter was the sweetest, even got the tint residue off my gfs car. People so nice and actually did a good job at looking over the cars. We both really appreciated the kindness from the front desk lady, sorry didn’t get your name .

We were low on gas. Challenge Burnham says it closes at 7pm, but we were there well before closing and it was all shut up. No one answering the phones.
Also, it says it’s 24/7… but the paying machine was OUT OF ORDER and so we couldn’t fuel up.
Best to go 1km down the road to the stations on the main road.
2 stars for benefit of the doubt that they had some emergency and had to close early. But not great when the 24/7 pump doesn’t work.
Writing this to save others time and stress, in case they’re also low on fuel / traveling after hours.
