One of the only hotels that was offering one bedroom with two twin beds, so perfect for two friends travelling together. Small room with nice clean bathroom and kitchenette. Away from the street side but still quite a lot of noise when people were coming and going from adjacent rooms so beware if you have kids and they need space to be...kids! Easy little ten minute walk to Oxford terrace or down to the Botanic Gardens and Hagley Park. Lots of nearby eateries.

We had a great 1 night stay here.
The staff is very friendly and helpful, rooms had everything we needed and the location was perfect. Near the city center and easy access to the airport.

Older accommodation poorly maintained, water leakage on carpets under aircon, and undeclared parking and laundry fees. Older male owner extremely agitated and aggressive. A problem/difference with the booking and bedding configuration resulted in what appeared to be erratic behaviour by the owner with unjustified threats to vacate the room. After about 5 seconds of pleasantries we identified a bedding inconsistancy between our booking and the room allocation, he then outright refused to deal with us or discuss options, manically insisting we had to go through bookings.com or get out. A very unpleasant individual to deal with.

The people that own this motel are really lovely. The rooms are immaculate and huge! Great location and easy to walk to everything. Will definitely stay here again.

Horrible manager, additional charges that you only find out about when you get there. $10 for a parking spot - at a motel? Its a motel! Location was good but the service and the owner treated us very badly, no willingness to accommodate or admit to mistakes. Thank you Leon for a terrible time in Christchurch.
