Prime location, good price, and a decent room. Recently renovated bathroom with great shower pressure. The room we booked had a very comfortable bed and cozy sheets. It also came with a microwave, stove, kettle, and a mini fridge. Very close proximity to Hagley Park and the CBD. Although, the wardrobe door handles were missing and one was falling apart, and the windowsill was crumbling and moldy. Other than that, would stay here again. 🙂

Stayed for 3 nights while visiting Christchurch. The bed was comfy. 2 small heaters we're provided. Bathroom was clean and shower pressure was amazing. Unfortunately the handle of the bathroom door was falling off, the bathroom window latch was broken so couldn't close the window properly, the wall heater in the main room/lounge area was broken(wouldn't turn on). The owner operator was a friendly guy and was funny.

Great location and would be fantastic value if it was maintained better, ill fitting curtains, broken plugs, poor heating and poor TV reception detract from the awesome location, quiet room and great parking.

The worst and most disgusting place I’ve ever stayed in. DO NOT STAY HERE. Firstly I will provide photos backing up everything I say in this review. There was blood stains and other dirty marks on our bed sheets. The windows had mold all around them and clearly the floors had never been moped as they were also very filthy. The bathroom had no fan in it so after one short shower there would be condensation covering every window in the entire unit and it made the whole place damp constantly. You couldn’t even leave your windows open during the day when you would leave to combat the condensation because both the front sliding door and the back door could be opened by reaching your arm through the open window. The parking area is also a place of concern as you cannot easily park your car between the pillared parking spots. As you can also see in the photos, the fridge was damaged and looked dirty, the bench was also marked with dirty spots and the corners of the room had cobwebs covering it. I have read others reviews and seen the owner arguing back and it shows that he takes zero accountability for how poor of a state this place is in. I really hope he sees this and takes action because this place should not be opened to the public whatsoever. i can only put a certain about of photos for this post so i’ll put more photos in the next one.

Cheap hotel with a great location next to Hagley park. Easy check in and out with a friendly staff. Bathroom looked recently renovated. Bed was comfy and clean.
Near to nice restaurants (recommend Thai orchid) and a 24 hour convenience store.
