What more can I say but the team and management at star auto are absolutely fantastic to deal with, our business has used them numerous times now and they have been overly professional and exceptionally well priced with sourcing our parts needs, vehicle wrecking and on the old occasion we have even purchased a couple of vehicles off them. So I was talking to this fella at Star Auto Dismantlers. He had a set of rims I liked and thought would look nice on my car. The man who I was talking to on Facebook marketplace wasn't there, it was a very unhappy Asian man there instead. Now this is a cash for cars place and granted, it's a business of wreck cars and cheap prices. I understand all that and I also understand that you're not a salesman at a Lexus dealership or anything of that nature. Not expecting his professional to be superb but he should've been kind. We as people should be kind to everyone. What I don't understand is how could someone make it out to be okay to treat customers in such terrible manner when they're trying to do business with you. Who's about to spend hundreds of dollars at your business. Everyone deserves to be treated equally and with RESPECT. Rather you're having a bad day or not, never take anything out of good customers who would do future business with you. Service is important in every industry, no matter what. Anyways, he took me out to see the rims. I liked what I seen (as seen on Facebook.) I politely asked him if I bring my car in with the current good tires on the the existing rims... do they provide a service to take my tires off and put them on the rims I was about to buy (because they didn't come with tires.) He aggressively said "no, I'm just selling the rims." As if I attacked him or something. He was an angry, grouchy man. I then said okay, that's not a problem at all. Can I pick the rims up tomorrow afternoon if possible. He then says "yes, if you pay now." I then said, "I'll have the money tomorrow." This man told me, "don't worry about it, I'll just sell them to someone else." I was actually WOWED to be handled in such way as a first time buyer from them. I could've potentially brought so much business to these guys but now they'll never see my face again. Which might not mean anything to them but it carries weight in the long run. Believe that!! You just turnt away a lot of business angry man. I wish you peace and happiness tho. That's just the kind of person I am but I hope this review help someone else from getting treated such way. I called up about my poor car that had been in an accident and both the man on the phone and the truck driver had absolutely exceptional service. They made the process so easy. I highly reccomend these guys!
