The room looked nothing like the way it eas advertised, it was old and dirty - I don’t know how they get away with advertising a completely different room. The room was absolutely disgustingly dirty, I don’t know how this passes any hygiene standards. There was tooth paste on the window sill of the bathroom from the previous guest. Black dirty mould on the shower head and tea/coffee stains on the wall. Looks like the lights above the bed are never cleaned. The room had a strange smell like stale smoke. Don’t spend your money to stay here, I couldn’t wait to get out this place

The lodge that we stayed in is very spacious and good for the cousins to spend time together. And the pool is direct access from the kitchen access. Easily accessible to public bus service which I think is reasonable , NZD6/pax/day max using debit/credit card.
Monila is on duty when we checked in. She welcome us with a sweet smile, and make good arrangement to ease our transit. Appreciate so much for the kind gesture.
Another staff is also very patient and help my boy with the key access to our unit.

Disappointed wouldn’t recommend. Looked really nice online when booking but is no where near what it is made out to be, no car parks on the property when we arrived then get told by reception “ you will have to park out on the road”, I then asked if we could move to a room where we could park outside (like every other motel I have ever got) she then proceeded to tell me“no we are fully booked”, I took a we wonder around and plenty of empty rooms where we could’ve moved to.

Comically bad. Dirty worn carpets needing replacement 10 years ago. Overwhelming odour of cigarette smoke (presumably) which lingered long after leaving motel. Unable to park in front of own unit most of the time. Tour bus parked right alongside most days looking straight into living room. Poorly ventilated toilets, adhoc repairs made to shower rail with ?paper. On the plus side tho, managers were very nice, supplied us with dvd player on request, decent dvd library.

Rooms were a great size and thats where anything good about the place ends. The whole place felt run down and I wasn't impressed with the state of our room. Mold on the curtains and generally dirty feeling, tv was broken and wardrobe door was hanging off the rail. We also went out for the day and returned to the room l
unlocked after the cleaner had been in. Would not stay again.
