I recieved a Caltex voucher for Christmas and went to use it at this Caltex Station. You have to prepay here now, the shop part is a seperate entity.
So I put my gift card in and it STUCK! Would not go all the way into the machine and would not come out either.
The lady in the shop was brilliant, even though it was not her issue she was supportive and helpful. We rung the 0800 number and the man on the phone said a technician would come tomorrow and take it out. All I could think is that someone would come along in the night and pull it out with pliers or something.
Anyway, he said the card would be damaged and I should ho back to the person who gave it to me and get another! Like, what?
Several passers by tied to remove it with no luck. Then one guy just pulled it out, thank god.
Shame on Caltex, they say Caltex Gift Cards are not accepted in their machine??
It was an hour of fussing about and a frustrating phone call.
I've never used Caltex before and this experience has persuaded me to never go back.
Big thumbs up to the brilliant lady in the shop, she was great.

dear Caltex team, This afternoon at around 2:30pm I had a very upsetting incident at Caltex Riccarton. As I went in there was 2 old ladies as the cashier . So I went and looked at the pies and muffins but couldn’t choose what I want so I went to get the drinks first and while I was walking back to the pies and muffins (which was next to the enterance door )one of the lady said “ where do you think your going” I gave her the drinks and said I was just going to the pies and she said you should leave the drinks here then go there. We can do better .

Nice friendly staff but please do not use the car wash as it’s very aggressive and they only offer express washes for $14 & $16. Water wash only. It also damaged my car, bent my license plate, scratched & dented my car

Just had a very unpleasant experience with a lady named Debby, not only did she speak to me in a very nasty tone she made me feel belittled, usless and genuinely not good enough for anything, I hope no one else has to have such an experience as this genuinely ruined my evening
