Seamless collection and even better drop off, the car was an electric Tesla and it was awesome. Great way to see what an electric car was like, amazingly cheap to charge and didnt experience any battery anxiety.. Well placed superchargers for where we travelled to and planning was easy using the navigator which highlighted charging options along the route.

Do not Rent a car from Avis.
The car was great but the customer service is unhelpful and the billing is predatory.
The people at the counter don't provide clear details about the extras and lie about how they bill and price it. Once you sign you're stuffed.
Ensure you always get a paper receipt and never sign anything until you know exactly what you will be billed in writing.
They got me to sign under False pretences by lying about the price to my face. Customer service after the fact is impossible to deal with and the branch's response to my ticket is a joke.
This branch is gross. Never go here.

Everything went smooth, and drop off was crazy easy.
Only feedback I have was about the vehicle - they trunk space had that hanging protector thing that basically just got in the way of all our luggage and we didnt know what to do with it the whole trip. Would've loved to just leave that thing behind. What is that even for anyway!?!
Nonetheless, great car rental experience!

Seamless drop off the car back to airport. The pick up process took sometime due to festive crowd. If you plan for outskirts long journey driving, don’t pick their mystery car package. Chances they offered you an EV which is not suit for long journey drive. The upgrade to hybrid or petrol car comes with another top up offered which depends of the option that available during pick up. Probably this is part of their marketing strategy.

Very disappointed with the Avis team. We had flight troubles, which pushed our arrival back by one day. I reached out to the Avis team at Christchurch to ensure they would still hold our reservation that we booked months prior. I even offered to pay for the extra day. I received an email that they would not hold our reservation and they could not accommodate our drop off at Queenstown that I reserved months ago. We ended up at a competitor, but due to the last minute nature had to pay significantly more. Disappointed by the lack of customer service.
