    I picked up my chair and side table today Both look fantastic im very thrilled and happy the best part was the side table already put together in the box when I opened and took it out. Chair looks great and you do have to put the legs on yourself but we'll worth it. I will be coming back again to purchase furniture in the future thank you very much 😊

    Order Reference: 396138 We ordered a five‑piece setting from Big Save in December, and the whole experience ended up dragging on for about four months. Several items arrived damaged, and even the replacements they sent had issues — some were split, poorly finished, or looked like they’d already been used. A few pieces were sent back immediately, and even the delivery driver didn’t seem surprised by the condition they were in. Communication was another problem. The online team stopped replying during the process, and emails sent to info email address were never answered. It took multiple follow‑ups just to get basic updates, and even the final replacement pieces still had defects. At that point we accepted them because it was clear this was as good as it was going to get. After everything, we asked for a goodwill partial refund due to the delays and the amount of back‑and‑forth involved. It was obvious they didn’t want to offer one, and it took weeks before the refund was finally processed. Based on this experience, we'll be avoiding Big Save in the future, and we recommend others be cautious as well. Response We've already responded to their provided email, and they've yet to respond. We've only left reviews on both the Christchurch store and the related warehouse in Napier.

    Edit to add: within hours of my review someone contacted me and had managed to track one down. It even got delivered , thank you. Service was okay, but not what you would expect when spending a couple of thousand dollars. The purchase was advertised with a free beanbag while stocks last, which is an effective way to draw customers in. However, there were none available at the time of purchase, despite the promotion still being advertised. I was told one would be sourced for me, but I heard nothing until I followed it up myself. After contacting the store, a beanbag was ordered and I was sent a tracking link. I was told to follow the link and, similar to the lounge suite, come in to collect it once it had ā€œarrivedā€. I travelled across town to collect it, only to be told the information was inaccurate and that a bulk order had been placed but had not yet arrived. I raised a complaint due to the lack of communication and wasted travel time. I was then told another beanbag would be sourced from the North Island and would take about a week. While I was already in that area, I stopped in again, only to be told it still hadn’t arrived and did not exist in-store. I was again assured one would be sent and that I would be contacted when it arrived — I am still waiting. I would not usually complain about a complimentary item, however this complaint is not about the item itself, but about how the situation has been handled. The ongoing lack of follow-through and clear communication has been disappointing. As a result, I would be hesitant to shop here again, as the service I have received has not felt up to scratch.

    Such super friendly and no nonsense staff! Kaamil was amazing with incredible customer service!! He was even willing to give me a discount on the bed to help it fit into my price range - really cool guy

    Have upgraded to a 2 star as eventually someone sorted the issue out. Took multiple follow ups to at least 6 people to find out where our spare bed we'd ordered was, no one contacted us until we eventually made a formal complaint (we had to go into the warehouse multiple times only to be told each time it wasn't there and someone would sort it) and even then, when someone said they'd throw in the mattress protector as an apology for stuffing us around, no one ended up doing anything about that either until we followed up 3 times on that too, as no one there left any notes on the system after telling me that's what they would be doing as a sorry. Eventually got it, but was very late and wasted many, many hours and days of our time.
