Wonderful experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. The ice cream is absolutely delicious and well priced. We both had sundaes which were $9.40 which is a very good price for a dessert considering what you pay in restaurants and cafes for desserts half the size. I'll be taking my daughter for sure.

This is my first to visit New Zealand.
And also my first time to try Ben & Jerry’s ice cream store in Christchurch, and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience!
As someone who has always been a fan of premium ice creams, I was thrilled to find that Ben & Jerry’s not only met but exceeded my expectations, solidifying its place as my favorite ice cream store ever—yes, even better than Häagen-Dazs.
During my visit, I decided to indulge in the Cookie and Caramel flavor, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. The richness of the caramel combined with the perfect crunch of the cookie pieces created a symphony of flavors and textures that danced on my taste buds.
The quality of the ingredients was evident, and the generous portion of mix-ins ensured that every spoonful was as exciting as the last.
One aspect that stood out to me was the price. For a large scoop, I paid around NZD 12, which I found to be quite reasonable considering the premium quality and the satisfying portion size.
Apart from that, the staff were friendly and efficient, making the ordering process smooth and enjoyable. They were knowledgeable about the different flavors and were more than happy to offer samples and recommendations.
Another commendable aspect of Ben & Jerry’s is their commitment to social and environmental causes. Knowing that the company actively supports various initiatives, from fair trade practices to environmental sustainability, makes enjoying their ice cream all the more satisfying.
In conclusion, for my first experience to try Ben & Jerry’s, it’s amazing. I can’t wait for my next visit to try more of their incredible flavors. And help they can also open some store in Taiwan.🤗

We visited the store on 8 Feb evening to buy ice cream for our son, who has a severe peanut allergy. There were no other customers in the store at the time , it was just us. The staff member serving us (an Asian male staff member) reacted very poorly when I informed him of the allergy. His attitude immediately became hostile and irritated.
He told me I would need to wait 15 minutes so he could get a new container, which I accepted given this is a serious, potentially life-threatening issue. As soon as I agreed to wait, he went straight to the freezer and grabbed a new container anyway, doing so with obvious annoyance.
Treating a severe food allergy as an inconvenience is completely unacceptable. The lack of professionalism, empathy, and basic food-safety awareness shown by this staff member is concerning and should be urgently addressed by management.

Absolute HORRIBLE customer service. We arrived at the store at 9:30pm as online it says closing at 10pm. We were met with the RUDEST 2 staff members. When we told them their online hours were till 10pm and that we would like to get 6 icecreams. We were then told that they didn't care and to go give our feedback to someone else.
Absolute disgrace. Would not recommend and will not be returning.

Stopped by Ben & Jerry’s in Christchurch and loved it! The vibe in the shop is super chill and the staff were really friendly. The ice cream was amazing – creamy, flavour-packed, and honestly hard to choose just one.
My top picks:
Strawberry Shortcake → fruity, creamy, and so moreish.
Double Chocolate → rich, decadent, and perfect if you’re a chocoholic.
If you’re in Christchurch and have a sweet tooth, this place is a must-visit!
