I had such an awesome experience at Basic Bikes! I don’t know much about bikes at all, but the service I received was incredible from start to finish. Ewen the owner who helped me was super friendly, patient, and explained everything in a way I could actually understand.
He really went the extra mile to make sure my bike was properly checked and running perfectly, not just doing the basics but making sure everything was safe and sorted. I left feeling so much more confident and looked after.
It’s rare to find service that’s this genuine and helpful. I wouldn’t go anywhere else now, highly, highly recommend!

Great service from Basic Bikes. We've never used these guys before but a mate recommended them, I called the shop on Friday, asked for a estimate price for new rim over the phone, they gave options and discussed the benefits, and prices. Dropped the wheel in Monday afternoon, they ordered parts and fitted the new rim, ready for collection on Thursday. Workmanship was great, service was fast, and price was as quoted, even though they did a little extra. Well worth the drive across town. Thanks Basic Bikes, we'll be using you guys again.

Good knowledge but the Scottish fellow wasn’t very welcoming and quite difficult to converse with. I understand you save money by buying products in larger quantity packs but that doesn’t necessarily work out equally for the customer. I like to support independent businesses but it’s no different to choose a chain store with an experience like this.

I just had my mountain bike repaired at Basic Bikes who did a fantastic job servicing my seat dropper. The guys are extremely knowledgeable and give good advise on service, repairs and general maintenance including very realistic pricing. Its a pleasure going to a friendly boutique shop that prides themselves on quality workmanship and presentation.
