Barrington Mall gets a thumbs up from me! This place has it all - great coffee, supermarket, and The Warehouse. Cleanliness is top-notch, and the toilets are surprisingly spotless (a big plus in my book!). The iced caramel latte (no cream) was a highlight for me, and Uncle devoured a tasty slice of cake and latte. We'll be back! 😊
Barrington Mall is a really handy and easy place to shop, especially for locals. It’s clean, well laid out and not too overwhelming, which makes popping in for a quick shop nice and stress-free. There’s a good mix of stores for everyday needs, and the supermarket and essentials make it a convenient one-stop spot. Parking is usually straightforward, and it’s easy to get in and out without the chaos you get at some of the bigger malls. The only reason I’ve given four stars instead of five is that the range of shops is a bit smaller compared to the larger malls around Christchurch, and it would be great to see a few more options added in the future. Overall though, Barrington Mall is reliable, friendly and practical – a solid local mall that does exactly what it needs to do.
A perfectly functional suburban mall. The Warehouse and Fresh Choice serve as the anchor tenants. Weirdly, both seem slightly dark, suggesting they are a bit tired. Fresh Choice is the usual mix of good specials, nice and unusual parts to their range, but also relatively expensive on other items. The mall has a good, although not extensive, range of shops, including a good pharmacy. It has an unhurried, quiet busyness story of vibe. The carparkl is relatively full much of the time but always with spaces to park. It is supported well by locals. It is a mid sized suburban mall with a fair range of shops to choose from. It's good enough for me to visit at least twice weekly, it does pretty much exactly what it says on the packet.
It was delightful to wander indoors and shop, especially with the cool weather outside . The food court was a hit, offering options like Chili's and Cafe. The mall's concept of housing multiple brands in a family-friendly environment is fantastic; you could easily spend three hours exploring. ❤️Plus, amenities like a food court, playground for kids, and public restrooms are available. Additionally, there's ample parking space at the mall. Very nice and full of different prestigious brands but also have a variety of restaurants and places to have fun with the family! Nice, big and clean mall, though it sometimes gets crowded. Food court and children attractions are decent too. Many times brand stores don't have any special heavily discounted deals but overall a nice place to shop and hangout.✅
Very average mall.Maybe good for you if you have never left Christchurch at all so don't know any better.. Parking is always bad and the shops are generally old,dated and overpriced but that sums up all of the malls in Christchurch tbh. Def wouldn't rate it more then 2 stars at best
