We rented a bargain car and drove it 2000 kms around the South Island. No issues! Our little car did what it needed to do for a very affordable price. Lots of gravel and road construction, so I was glad not to have great paint to worry about.
I rented a car to explore the South Island and everything went perfectly. The vehicle was reliable and never gave me any trouble. Corbin and Aaron were both extremely professional and friendly, from pick-up to drop-off. Excellent service throughout. I highly recommend them!
Quick and efficient. It was budget. I booked a commuter hybrid which was an older rough looking car and when my mother wanted to upgrade they managed to do so at a reasonable price. This vehicle was high KMS but we put more KMS on it and it was reliable. Worth getting a comfortable car for a big journey.
We had an amazing experience with Bargain Rental Cars in Christchurch. Absolutely the best deal we could find by far and our car (Toyota Corolla) had everything we needed and was good on gas for our +2800 km 15 day car camping road trip around the South Island. Staff was friendly and accommodating. 10/10 recommend
Booked a car online from Australia and upon arrival we were picked up from airport by Devon and she soon on our way. Car was an older Mazda, that didn't miss a beat. We did 2000km, it was very economical, and at fuel prices at $2.75 litre!, that was good. Very easy pick up and drop of ... Lovely Devon even gave us a ride to our motel. Will use and recommend BRC again.
