I wanted to thank Regi and Cyril for the great service. Both were extremely helpful and very friendly. The pricing was reasonable.
They were short staffed and handled the influx of customers like it was nothing.

Extremely disappointed - Unauthorized charges and zero response to inquiries.
I am extremely disappointed with the billing handling and the lack of customer service at this Avis location.
I had already fully prepaid for my rental through Booking.com. However, upon arrival, I was asked to provide a credit card for a Pre-authorization of NZD 991.06. I specifically asked the staff if this was just a hold and if it would be refunded. I even checked with the staff member explicitly confirming that it was a "Pre-authorization" and that any remaining balance would be returned after the rental.
To my shock, after returning the car, this "Pre-authorization" was processed as an actual charge (Tax Invoice #11097xxxx), resulting in a double payment for my rental.
I have tried to contact Avis multiple times to resolve this clear billing error, but they have completely ignored my emails and messages. It is unacceptable to promise a refund on record and then ghost the customer after taking their money.
Avis Team: Please review my case and respond to my refund request immediately. I have the evidence and all receipts ready to provide to my bank for a chargeback if this is not resolved.

Brooklyn at Avis/apex rentals was inconsiderate and did not make efforts to understand our request regarding the booking. I found the behavior and body language to be unprofessional. However the other member of staff jumped in to answer our questions on the booking. Overall the checkin experience left me in bitter taste.

We got there later than our intended arrival but sorted the confusion out quickly. The staff were helpful and answered all questions to a good standard.

the staff is friendly and courteous, the formalities were completed quickly and easily, after 10 minutes I was already on the road with the rental car. The return also went like this, no waiting times and more friendly service. I would be happy to come back anytime
