Lois at Asko Design has been incredible to work with — so patient, upbeat, and genuinely delightful while helping me choose my furniture. She made the whole experience fun and stress‑free. Shirley has also been wonderful every time I’ve visited, always warm and welcoming. The store itself is stunning, full of beautiful pieces and such a great vibe. I’d recommend Asko Design to absolutely everyone — they’re fantastic.

Horrific experience in Asko, today Saturday 24 January 2026 at 3.30pm. We were in the store for 35 minutes, genuinely interested in times. Both myself and my husband went to the counter where the glasses were and around the sales attendance and both continued to talk for the entire time we were in the store. Looked at us and never once greeted us or checked on us, just continued their conversation.
How you employ these two ladies and make any money I will never know. We are specifically not going to spend money at your store because of the disgusting service by your two staff today.
Absolutely shocking.

What a great experience we have had with the purchase of our new lounge suite, right from the first contact with staff right through to the delivery and installation in home it has been a refreshing example of great customer service. Every question we had was answered promptly and with good feedback, overall a delight to deal with the store and staff and we will be back.

VERY bad experience! Purchased a little WMF stainless steel sieve for $79 there and then found a similar one in a shop next door for $8.20 and Asko would not take it back and refund! This was after I asked for a special price for a hand spice mill that had cracks in its wooden top and they said they will rather send it back to WMF than give it to me for a reduced price. I will never set a foot into that store again - extremely unfriendly and not interested in happy customers!

Askö has huge amounts of stock in Christchurch!!! I have only recently discovered this and now I will try to buy from Askö as a first port of call, every time. No waiting! How amazing. They have so many options. So much stock. Competitive prices and amazing service. The girls in the shop are lovely. The warehouse manager is friendly and helpful. They always answer the phone and click and collect is so prompt.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
