The motel looks plain, however the name re motel does not do it justice. The rooms are self contained bedroom, kitchenet bathroom seating place. So a very comfortable place. The suit we had was a double and had a good range of cooking and eating utensils. The location is perfect. A beautiful walk into or across the parc, through the botanic gardens right into the city centre.
Also just around the corner is a 24hr mini market and a little further up the road a very big Park&Save supermarket for all one would need for a few days stay.
Able car parking for the car. It's also quiet.

This is a nice, small and cozy motel. It may not be the most modern and could use a bit of renovation, but it’s quiet, comfortable, and has everything you need for a couple of nights. The atmosphere is peaceful, and talking to the owners was a genuinely pleasant extra touch that made the stay even bettter.

Great location: a pleasant park walk to the Botanic Gardens and city. Such a pleasure to have a separate bedroom in a motel. Though tight, the bathroom was fine. The kitchenette was very well equipped.
Hosts Lena and Peter were very helpful and we greatly appreciated the drop off at the station for our onward rail trip.

I have to say it’s refreshing to find something other than a traditional 5 star accommodation that takes such pride in their facilities. The room was very clean, spacious and had all the necessities. Wear and tear was minimal and it’s clear that they haven’t been skimping on the maintenance. I would absolutely stay here again. You can tell that the owners care about this place.
There are some nice little touches too like the travel power board in the living room, in case you forgot an AU/NZ adapter. Well done Argyle team!!

Clean and comfortable room. Friendly owner. Old fashioned charm. Close to a lovely park and walking distance to the botanical gardens. Enjoyed my stay there .
