Hotel is near Hagley Park just out of central Christchurch. Close to restaurants and shopping centre. Room was quite big, bed comfortable and kitchen and bathroom had all that we needed. We were happy to stay here and would do so again.

This is a nice, small and cozy motel. It may not be the most modern and could use a bit of renovation, but it’s quiet, comfortable, and has everything you need for a couple of nights. The atmosphere is peaceful, and talking to the owners was a genuinely pleasant extra touch that made the stay even bettter.

Great place to rest our heads before heading out on the Tranzalpine Scenic Train. Very conveniently located, and the rooms are comfortable and functional. The universal outlet was a very nice touch. The owners are super super nice, and allowing us to drop off our luggage before check in and providing transportation to the train station was hugely appreciated. You can't go wrong staying here if you're staying in Christchurch.

The motel looks plain, however the name re motel does not do it justice. The rooms are self contained bedroom, kitchenet bathroom seating place. So a very comfortable place. The suit we had was a double and had a good range of cooking and eating utensils. The location is perfect. A beautiful walk into or across the parc, through the botanic gardens right into the city centre.
Also just around the corner is a 24hr mini market and a little further up the road a very big Park&Save supermarket for all one would need for a few days stay.
Able car parking for the car. It's also quiet.

Clean and comfortable room. Friendly owner. Old fashioned charm. Close to a lovely park and walking distance to the botanical gardens. Enjoyed my stay there .
