Outstanding car rental! The pickup at my hotel was seamless and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Communication with Vaughan and his team was a breeze, and my one-way rental worked flawlessly. I enjoyed driving a well cared for 2011 Subaru wagon during my 6-week tour of the south island. It was comfortable, solid and problem-free. The camping kit I hired was such a great deal and really added to my experience. I will absolutely rent from Anzed Rentals again.
We rented a car here for our family’s 11-week stay in Christchurch, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The car itself wasn’t brand new, but it was clearly very well maintained, reliable, and comfortable throughout our stay. Even before we arrived in New Zealand, the team made a wonderful impression on us. While we were discussing our booking by email, they told us that if we ran into any problems or needed help during our stay in Christchurch, we could always reach out to them. It wasn’t something they needed to say, but that genuine kindness and willingness to help gave us a real sense of confidence. In fact, it was one of the reasons we decided to rent from them. Unfortunately, we were involved in a minor accident during our stay. It was my first car accident ever, and I honestly didn’t know what to do. Once again, the team was incredibly professional, kind, and supportive. They patiently explained the process, guided me through everything step by step, and reassured me throughout the whole situation. Their calm and caring approach turned what could have been a very stressful experience into one that felt completely manageable. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care played a big part in making our 11 weeks in Christchurch such a wonderful experience. I would happily recommend them to anyone visiting Christchurch. Vaughan and his team were amazing. We rented a car for a 3 week trip. He was easy to connect with ahead of time, the car was great, and his team were very friendly. Great value as well!
Anzed was superb for our South Island trip. Would recommend them for great value and personal service. Ken presented us with a gleaming, clean BR9 Subaru Legacy wagon shod with grippy 17" Toyo tyres all-round, which was easy to handle and cruised us in superb comfort and stability up and down twisty wet highways with passing power in spades. Maintained impeccably and with lower than expected mileage for its age, it was truly a joy to drive. It was well-appointed with stability control, Bluetooth music, reverse camera, electric front seats/reclining rear seats losing nothing to a newer SUV. Heaps of rear seat and cargo room as well. Responsive communication via e-mail for the booking from Vaughan and Valentine, with everything transparent. Ken was super affable during the pick-up and drop-off and we had some lovely conversation. Definitely ended our trip on a great note. Anyone needing a rental should look Anzed's way instead of the usual suspects. They have a model for everyone including an interesting Lexus GS300, for next time!
