Last minute booking for 3 people and we luckily found a room. The room is very neat, clean and tidy. Tea and coffee was very well stocked up. Facilities were great: little kitchenette with stove/oven, fridge, plates and cutlery. TV and wifi also available. Check in and out was new to me thru intercom but it’s all part of the experience, still staff was courteous and friendly. Location was just what we needed close to city and the airport. I would definitely go back and also recommend.(please excuse the messy bed where my daughter plonked herself before I took the video)

Very unprofessional handling of a confirmed booking.
We arrived at the motel with a valid Booking.com reservation and were then told at the intercom that the room price was suddenly much higher. During the conversation, several different prices were mentioned (NZD 200, then 120, then an additional NZD 58).
We were also asked to pay via an external payment link outside of Booking.com, which we declined.
In the end, the accommodation cancelled the booking instead of honoring the confirmed reservation.
Price errors can happen, but the way this situation was handled was confusing, inconsistent, and unprofessional. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this property.

I might be one of the pickiest guess one can think of.
Booking, arriving at and being surprised by the quality of Amross Court, has taken a load from my shoulders. I can not speak highly enough of their service, cleaness as well as comfort. Price is good and they listened to my needs. I will definitely be booking here again. We'll worth the money you pay. Thank you Amross, for being our home away from home.

Absolutely no human service, which is not obvious when you book. D.i.y everything including linens/Manchester. $1/10 minutes of dryer use?!? Rooms are dated and need a refurbished.

Wonderful place to stay!
The room was really well laid out and looked after, you can tell the owners are passionate about making sure your stay is comfortable.
The shower pressure and temp is perfect, the heating is great and the bed is comfortable.
Really lovely check in process, we had help with getting our bags up to our room and a quick tour of the room.
